USSR 1971 – Sheet featuring the Soviet emblem and economic symbols mint (Mi. 3888)
A mint stamp sheet issued by the Soviet Postal Service in 1971, containing 20 stamps arranged in a 5×4 grid. Each stamp is red and features the emblem of the USSR with the hammer and sickle, surrounded by motifs representing socialist economic achievements.
At the bottom of each stamp is the inscription “ПОЧТА СССР” (Post of the USSR), and in the central part of the stamp, there is an inscription: “50 лет Аджарской АССР”, commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Adjarian Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic, one of the autonomous republics within the USSR.
This issue reflects the ideology and aesthetics of the Soviet era and is a valuable item for collectors of political, economic, and Soviet iconography themes.
