TERMS OF SALE of philatelic items included in the offer of Poczta Polska S.A. for philatelic purposes to entrepreneurs operating a business activity related to philately with registered office in Poland or abroad and also to Polish philatelic unions and associations
I. GENERAL PROVISIONS
§ 1
PP S.A. accepts orders for the sale of philatelic items for philatelic purposes from entrepreneurs
operating a business activity related to philately with registered office in Poland or abroad and also to
Polish philatelic unions and associations.
§ 2
The terms used herein shall have the following meaning:
1) philatelic purpose – collecting of philatelic items;
2) business activity related to philately – business activity consisting in selling philatelic items for
philatelic purposes;
3) FDC – first day cover;
4) PP S.A. – Poczta Polska Spółka Akcyjna;
5) Terms and Conditions – Terms and Conditions of the online store of Poczta Polska S.A.,
available at: www.filatelistyka.poczta-polska.pl;
6) philatelic items – valid evidence of payment of postage (non-cancelled stamps, postal stationery,
first day covers (FDC) until the 28th day from the date on the commemorative FDC cancellation)
and philatelic items other than evidence of payment of postage (cancelled stamps, non-cancelled
and cancelled obsolete stamps, FDC after the 29th day from the date on the commemorative
FDC cancellation, imprints of commemorative cancellations) in stock at the Central Stamp
Warehouse in Lublin;
7) philatelic union, philatelic association – union or association registered in the National Court
Register gathering collectors of philatelic items.
§ 3
1. Selling of philatelic items to the entities discussed in § 1 for the purposes specified therein shall be
done in accordance with the offer of the online store of Poczta Polska S.A. and subject to the
terms indicated below.
2. The selling price of philatelic items is specified in the sales offer available at the online store of
Poczta Polska S.A.
3. For a one-time order worth from PLN 1,000.00 (one thousand PLN) to PLN 9,999.99 (nine thousand
nine hundred ninety-nine PLN 99/100), the following discounts apply:
a) 5% – calculated as percentage of the gross selling price of items that are valid
evidence of payment of postage;
b) 10% – calculated as percentage of the gross selling price of items that are not evidence
of payment of postage.
4. For a one-time order worth at least PLN 10,000 (ten thousand PLN), the following discounts apply:
a) 10% – calculated as percentage of the gross selling price of items that are valid
evidence of payment of postage;
b) 20% – calculated as percentage of the gross selling price of items that are not evidence
of payment of postage.
5. The right to the discounts specified in this section is granted only upon demonstration that the entity
meets the criteria discussed in § 1, including the presentation of documentation confirming the
status of the entity, indicating that the entity operates a business activity related to philately, at the
time of registration at the online store.
6. In order to receive a discount, the entity operating a business activity related to philately is obligated
to send information about compliance with the requirements that have to be met in order for that
entity to receive the discount along with the documentation confirming the status of the entity.
7. The discounts arising from these Terms do not apply to the sale of subscriptions for philatelic items,
the sale of which has been regulated in a separate legal act.
II. OTHER REGULATIONS
§ 4
Other rules, in particular rules concerning the following:
1) user registration at the online store and submission of suitable documents,
2) placement of orders,
3) order processing and payment,
4) liability of PP S.A.,
5) complaints,
6) personal data protection,
are governed by the provisions of the Terms and Conditions.
III. FINAL PROVISIONS
§ 5
Matters not regulated by these Terms are governed by the provisions of the Civil Code.
