Poland coin 2008. - Sybiracy with zirconia Ag original issued by NBP
The coin was issued by the National Bank of Poland in 2008, commemorating the fate of Poles deported to Siberia in various historical periods.
The obverse of the coin features symbolic silhouettes of deported Poles whose fate was marked by forced exile to Siberia. The depicted figures are inscribed in geometric structures, which may symbolize enslavement, harsh conditions and the impossibility of return.
The reverse of the coin is dominated by the inscription “SYBIRACY,” which is the central element of the composition. In the background is a symbolic landscape of Siberian forests and taiga, shown in a cold, harsh climate and its reflection.
In the lower part of the coin there is a decorative element in the form of a triangular crystal - zirconia.
