World Youth Day 2016 in Krakow took place from 26 to 31 July. Young
people from all over the world took part in meetings with Pope Francis,
as well as in numerous religious and cultural events, such as holy
masses, catechesis, meetings with representatives of religious
communities and movements, as well as concerts and theater performances.
Finally, the Pope passed on the fire of the mercy of the young people
of the six continents. Later on, he prayed Angel of the Lord. During the
prayer the Pope said that John Paul II rejoiced in heaven and would
bring you joy of gospel everywhere and announces that another World
Youth Day will take place in Panama 2019.
