Non-cancelled stamp issue "World Mental Health Day"
Catalogue number: 5415
Issue date: 10.10.2024
World Mental Health Day, celebrated on October 10 since 1992, is an international day for global mental health education, raising awareness and supporting the fight against social stigma.
Every year on this day, awareness-raising activities are conducted around the world to draw attention to mental health and its impact on our lives.
Each year a different theme is chosen for the celebration - in 2024 it reads: “It's time to prioritize mental health in the workplace.”
In the issue graphic, the author, Bożydar Grozdew, symbolically depicted relationships in the work environment - which are increasingly complex and diverse due to increasing globalization. In the stamp's graphic, in its central part, we see two figures - a woman and a man with a marked connecting part in common, metaphorically representing the substantive cooperation of professionals.
In the binding of the sheet, we see further figures forming a broader working environment, shown fully in the graphic of the FDC envelope.
An interesting graphic idea is the superimposition of a date postmark graphic depicting a single male profile on the figure of a man in the envelope graphic surrounded by other people in this way the intra-psychic processes of the individual are symbolically accentuated.
