This charming stamp block commemorates the classic of Polish children's animation - the “Please an Elephant” series, based on a short story by Ludwik Jerzy Kern.
🐘 On the first stamp (PLN 2.60) we see Dominik the elephant, who has grown so big that he no longer fits in the apartment - the scene comes from one of the episodes of the series.
🎠 On the second stamp (PLN 3.20) Dominic in a red cap is marching down the street, leading a procession of children - a symbol of friendship and children's imagination.
🎬 On the right side of the block is an illustration of the main character - the boy Pinia - looking at an elephant with a smile, and in the cloud the inscription: “Please elephant.”
