FDC issue "Poland See More"
Catalogue number: 2370
Issue date: 27-06-2025
In 2025, we decided to present two tourist sites in Lower Silesia as part of the series. This area, due to last year's flooding, needs support, which we would like to provide at least in part by promoting the tourist qualities of the region.
The stamps depict:
1) on the first - a photo of the Palace of Marianne of Orange in Kamieniec Ząbkowicki,
2) on the second - a photo of the Mastodont Hall in the Bear Cave in Kletno.
The graphic of the FDC envelope shows a fragment of the arcade of Marianna Orańska's Palace and a fragment of the dripstone robe of the Bear Cave, as well as a pattern created from the graphic signs of the "Poland See More" issue.
In the graphic of the date stamp - the graphic sign of the "Poland See More" issue with the Lower Silesia region marked.
Marianna of Orange's palace in Kamieniec Ząbkowicki is a pearl of architecture in Lower Silesia.
More about the palace:Palace of Marianne of Orange - Pearl of the Architecture of Lower Silesia.
The Bear Cave in Kletno is the longest of the Sudetic caves and one of the longest and deepest in Poland. It is located in the Eastern Sudetes in the Śnieżnik Massif in Mount Stroma (1166 meters above sea level).
